Guide Brave Church in ministry direction and re-organization as we reassess community, ministry and congregational needs. Identify new leaders and provide intentional mentorship and support to volunteers to effectively “ prepare God’s people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up.and become mature attaining the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11 Implement and guide the church’s mission, vision, and strategy. Oversee all staff and ministry work, providing guidance in keeping ministries to biblical principles and fostering a community of respect in collaboration with the Executive Pastor.
Leading the church in collaboration with the Board of Directors and Kingdom Builders. Represent the church in community outreach programs, charitable events, and other activities that promote the church’s mission. Officiate at significant life moments of the congregation such as weddings, funerals, baptisms and child dedications. Provide short-term counseling in cooperation with Staff and Dream Team. Work with the Board of Directors to provide congregation care and visitation to ensure the development of a supportive community at Brave Church.Įncourage and lead in the discipline of prayer both corporately and individually. Oversee and plan Sunday morning services in collaboration with the Experience Staff, including any special events in the church calendar.ĭevelop a caring and shepherding relationship with the congregation. “ An approved workman.who correctly handles the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:23 Hold a high view of all of the scriptures, “ All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for.” 2 Timothy 3:16, encouraging and exhorting the congregation of its efficacy in all areas of life and faith using all of the scriptures given to us. The Lead Pastor needs to mentor and support volunteers, identify and disciple leaders, and prepare and encourage God’s people to become mature in Christ. Our Lead Pastor is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of ministry work and staff in collaboration with the Executive Pastor, providing spiritual insight to ensure ministries are consistent with scripture, and implementing and guiding the church’s mission, vision and strategy. The Lead Pastor will be available to officiate at weddings, funerals, baptisms and child dedications. Concern for people will be essential to provide congregational care and visitation in cooperation with the Board of Directors. Expertise and experience will be required to provide short-term counseling in cooperation with the staff and Dream Team.
The Lead Pastor needs to encourage and lead in the discipline of prayer. Our Lead Pastor needs to develop a caring, shepherding relationship with the congregation.
